This fashion film is based on a story about migratory birds that fly all the way to a town in India just to commit suicide.
The female protagonist represents the flock of birds. In the opening sequence, she sews and stitches her outfits. This is an analogy to the migratory process of the birds. There is slow superimposition of the images suggesting the passing of time, long and arduous.
The film is broken into two segments. The first half is the migration process. The second half is her preparation for her suicide. The pace of the film and music picks up in the second half of the film.
The film cuts quickly to show her drinking a bowl of gold. Gold is used because it is metallic and not usually associated with edible foods. Therefore, drinking it conjures the idea of committing suicide.
