Award-winning fashion lensman Wai Teik founded his eponymous studio in 1998 in Singapore. It marked the beginning of the pursuit of capturing fleeting moments of beauty with fashion-savvy angles and perspectives. Ever since the inception of Wai Teik Photography, he has attained numerous internationally recognised photography awards under his belt.

Wai Teik adopts a holistic approach to the creative process, possessing the uncanny ability to visualise how every aspect of the photo shoot comes into play. The desire to take his passions to higher levels has led to the production of Hypertrophy – a coffee table book that features six bodybuilders from a high-fashion perspective. Especially in the face of daunting challenges and detractors, winning several bodybuilding championships testify of his passion, determination and perseverance toward transforming his dreams to reality. These underlying principles are indeed a stark reflection of Wai Teik’s passion in creating fine fashion imagery for the enjoyment of all.
