The posh interiors of a penthouse located at Cluny Park Residence is artfully photographed by Wai Teik. In the hands of internationally acclaimed SCDA Architects, the design of Cluny Park Residence can be alikened to that of a bespoke piece of furniture, precisely moulded into a canvas for a modern lifestyle. To adeptly capture the minimalist sophistication of the interiors, Wai Teik did recce and test shoots to determine the best timing and direction of the natural light prior to the actual shoot.
The client, SC Global Developments, wanted to showcase the fact that the property was set amidst a lush green surrounding.
Care was taken to ensure that lifestyle branding is translated in the image, with a female talent seated and the architecture of the property occupying only half the image.

In order to capture the entire scene of the interiors, wide angle lenses are used. However, distortion of the interiors can occur due to the wide angle lenses. One of the main challenges is to "straighten" the distortion of the interiors during post production.

Professional digital imaging to focus attention on the refurbished Wisma Atria.
Foliage, pedestrians and reflection of other buildings on the glass facade were removed from the original photo.
The major difficulty was to “rebuild” the roof of Wisma Atria which was blocked by trees in the foreground. Image of the roof was taken from a different angle and manipulated digitally to fit perfectly onto the facade of the building.
