Virgin Media Business is a B2B telco in the United Kingdom. It launched a new set of propositions into the Small Business marketplace using the winners from its “3 New Things” competition in early 2014, which was a search for game-changing digital innovations that could transform the way we live and work for good.
Phillip Keane was one of the winners. His company “Third Rock Aerospace” is building a 3D-printed satellite that can be launched from space so everyone can explore the universe without a NASA budget.
The creative campaign for the campaign was conceptualised and conceived in the United Kingdom. However, Phillip Keane is currently based in Singapore.
Wai Teik was hence commissioned to photograph Phillip Keane in a studio in Singapore. The close-up shot of his face was emailed to United Kingdom where it was used in the final composite for the campaign. The photography was done with strict creative direction and lighting scheme from the agency.
